CBS Television Distribution

CBS Television Distribution was formed by CBS Corporation on 26 September 2006, the result of a merge of CBS Paramount Network Television's three television distribution arms, CBS Paramount Domestic Television, CBS Paramount International Television (in 2004 already reformed by old Viacom to CBS Studios International and responsible for the licensing of television shows to foreign parties including those branches of Netflix, in essence being the modern day variant of the classic syndication), and King World Productions.

In early 2008, CBS Television Distribution ceased to be a separate corporate entity, and became a division of what was then still known as CBS Studios. ([1](X) –February 2008 bottom byline)

On 11 January 2021, CBS Television Distribution was rebranded as CBS Media Ventures. [2]
