Brone
Brone was the leader of the Vori, a humanoid race engaged in a civil war with the Kradin. He was in charge of conscripting both his own people as well as aliens into his army. He ordered the brainwashing of Chakotay, who had crash-landed on the planet, in order to have him fight with the Vori troops. Brone used drugs and placed Chakotay in a controlled environment to convince him that he had witnessed Kradin atrocities.
One false memory that Brone had implanted in Chakotay was that of a Vori village that was attacked by the Kradin, who then committed genocide against the Vori. In the false memory Brone rescued Chakotay, totally convincing him that the Kradin were mass murderers.
Chakotay was ultimately rescued by Tuvok. It was then revealed that Brone had brainwashed Chakotay. The Vori had been using this technique not only on aliens, but on their own people as well, to convince them that the Kradin were inhumane and to enlist them in the war against the Kradin.
