Template:Realworld Brenan Thompson Baird (born 1963 – died 4 November 2013; age 50) was the actor who played a Cardassian soldier in the Star Trek: Deep Space Nine episode "Things Past".
Baird was born in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada and moved to California at the age of 20 to pursue an acting career.
In 1991, he starred with fellow DS9 guest star Jordan Lund in the motion picture Harley Davidson and the Marlboro Man.
Baird also guest starred in episodes of Crusade (with Marjean Holden, Tracy Scoggins and Daniel Dae Kim) and Ladies Man (with Stephen Root and Sharon Lawrence).
Baird lost his two year battle against cancer on 4 November 2013 at the age of 50. [1]
