Ships of the Class

Background

The Bradbury-class was only mentioned in dialogue, it was not seen on screen.

This class designation was seen on the Mission Status background artwork on the observation lounge set from TNG's fourth season onwards. The vessel's class and registry information were visible on this chart. The designation Bradbury-class is not from any episodic source, but was devised by the background artists who created the status displays.

Apocrypha

A ship description was mentioned in supplements to the Last Unicorn Games role playing games, which refers to this vessel as being a 335m long heavy frigate in service from 2362, with 10 decks, and describes it as being similar to one of the unfilmed Intrepid-class prototypes designed during pre-production of Star Trek: Voyager.
