A Borg probe ship.
The Borg probe was a type of small ship used by the Borg, apparently to scout low-resistance targets. The craft is not as well armed as most larger Borg ships, and is only about 350 meters long. The ships are equipped with a transwarp coil. The USS Voyager encountered a probe of this type in mid-2375, and managed to easily destroy it by beaming a photon torpedo into the probe's central plexus. (VGR: "Dark Frontier")
