Borath

Borath is a Vorta official who conducted an experiment on captured members of the USS Defiant crew in 2371. The experiment involved a simulated reality, and was designed to gauge the amount of resistance the Dominion would encounter if it made inroads into the Alpha Quadrant. In the simulation, Borath posed as the Dominion representative to the Federation. While running an experiment on Captain Sisko, he directly negotiated with Fleet Admiral Alynna Nechayev.

Borath was surprised to see the lengths Commander Benjamin Sisko and his crew were willing to do to stop the Dominion, including risking their lives and careers to destroy the Bajoran wormhole. (DS9: "The Search, Part II")

Borath was played by Dennis Christopher.
