Bikini Atoll is a group of approximately 20 islands in Earth's southern Pacific Ocean.
In the mid-20th century, the Bikini Atoll became famous for a series of nuclear weapon tests conducted by the armed forces of the United States of America.
Jonathan Archer compared the Calindra system, used by the Xindi as a weapons testing area in 2153, to Bikini Atoll. (ENT: "Proving Ground")
