Beth Meacham (born 14 November 1951; age 65) is a novelist and editor with Tor Books.

She was credited with suggesting the idea for the story in DC Comics' volume 1 issue #33 "Vicious Circle!".

Biography and non-Trek workEdit

Originally from Newark, Ohio, she has been married to Tappan King, another SF writer, for many years.

Meacham is an SF editor, and has worked on many notable novels including Orson Scott Card's Ender's Game.

She has also written various science fiction reference works.
