Bernd J. Rantscheff (born 16 July 1946; age 77) is a makeup artist from Germany who worked on Star Trek: The Next Generation and Star Trek: Deep Space Nine. In 1998 he received an Emmy Award nomination in the category Outstanding Makeup for a Series for his work on the episode "Who Mourns for Morn?", shared with Michael Westmore, Camille Calvet, Dean Jones, Karen Iverson, Mark Bussan, Ellis Burman, Karen Westerfield, Mary Kay Morse, Belinda Bryant, Joe Podnar, Suzanne Diaz, Jill Rockow, and David Quashnick.

Beside his work on Star Trek, Rantscheff worked as makeup artist on the comedy Sunshine Reggae auf Ibiza (1983), the comedy Zwei Nasen tanken Super (1984), Henry: Portrait of a Serial Killer (1986), the horror film Night Angel (1990), The Borrower (1991), Sliders (1999), and How the Grinch Stole Christmas (2000).
