Bernadette "Nadet" Fuller, daughter of Vera Fuller, was one of the original Humans to colonize Terra Nova. She was born in 2076 aboard the SS Conestoga.

When the planet's environment became poisoned by radiation fallout from an asteroid, she moved underground with the rest of the colonists. Over time, she forgot her Human heritage and eventually went by the name Nadet. During her lifetime, she had at least one child, a son named Jamin. She blamed Humans for bringing the "poison rain" to her colony, when she was "no taller than a digger."

She was later reminded of her Human origins by the crew of Enterprise NX-01 when they visited the planet in 2151. Nadet and her son were brought aboard Enterprise for medical treatment. It was found that she had lung cancer, though it was easily treated and cured by Doctor Phlox by administering her cytolytic injections.

Nadet had no memory of her Human existence until Captain Jonathan Archer showed her a photo of young Bernadette with her mother, Vera. This evidence helped Nadet to remember her past, and that she was Human. She was also told that an asteroid, not Humans, had poisoned their atmosphere. Enterprise discovered that her people were being poisoned by contaminated ground water from the radiation that had seeped into the ground. She helped to convince the Novans that they were Humans and should return to the surface. (ENT: "Terra Nova")

Nadet was played by actress Mary Carver who filmed her scenes between Thursday 9 August 2001 and Friday 10 August 2001 and between Wednesday 15 August 2001 and Friday 17 August 2001 on Paramount Stage 8, 9, and 18. The younger Bernadette, seen on the photographs, was portrayed by an unknown actress.
The costume worn by Carver was later sold off on the It's A Wrap! sale and auction on eBay. [1]
The older Nadet was scripted to be "in her late 70's." A later scene description in the "Terra Nova" script said; "Her voice is raspy, and her breathing is labored. She's very ill and speaks with difficulty."
