A bassoon
The Bassoon is musical instrument from the planet Earth. They are typically made of wood or plastic and have a double-reed.
An alien crewmember of the USS Enterprise-D played the bassoon on a concert in Ten Forward in the year 2367. Data, Jenna D'Sora and Keiko O'Brien were also participating in that concert. (TNG: "In Theory")
