The A-6 excavation base camp

A base camp was a provisional area for work and rest built up in an uninhabited region.

In 2153, the Arctic Archaeology Team of the Earth Sciences Institute, the A-6 excavation team, built up a base camp on a glacier in the Arctic Circle on Earth. It consisted of three research modules. (ENT: "Regeneration")
