Barson II is an inhabited planet in the Barson system.
In 2370, a medical crisis occurred here, so the Enterprise-D transported viral medicines from Starbase 328 to Barson II. The crisis was so severe that the ship was allowed to exceed the warp 5 limit. (TNG: "Eye of the Beholder")
