Bardoli was a male Human Starfleet officer who lived during the mid-23rd century. He served in the operations division aboard the USS Enterprise under Captain James T. Kirk in 2268, where he served as one of the ship's security officers.
That year, Bardoli, together with Swenson, was part of a landing party led by Captain Kirk that was searching for the dikironium cloud creature on Argus X. (TOS: "Obsession")
Bardoli was played by actor Basil Poledouris.
An early draft of the script named the character "Bardol", but that name was struck by de Forest Research, as noted in the research submitted for "Obsession" on 29 September 1967, "brings to mind oil additive by this name. Suggest Bardoli."
