The boy at the picnic was a hologram of Wesley Crusher. He was enjoying a picnic with his mother. He was ill-mannered and the mother chided him, saying that "Master Barclay" would spank him if he misbehaved.

Barclay resented that fact the Wesley made fun of him by calling him "Broccoli" and represented him as ill-mannered and a slob. (TNG: "Hollow Pursuits")

Like his real counterpart, he was portrayed by Wil Wheaton.
