The Baikonur Cosmodrome, USSR (Kazakhstan), Earth was a civilian and Federation shipyard.

On November 27th, 2123, the SS Mariposa (NAR-7678) was launched from the Baikonur Cosmodrome. (TNG: "Up The Long Ladder", display graphic)

Over two centuries later, on stardate 40291.7, the SS K.E. Tsiolkovskiy (К. Э. Циолковский, NCC-53911) was commissioned at the Baikonur Cosmodrome. (TNG: "The Naked Now", set artwork)
