After filming ended on "What You Leave Behind", Cameron went through a list of the main and recurring cast members of DS9, saying for each "this is good night and goodbye to...". The initials of Biddle Coleridge from "Past Tense, Part I" and "Past Tense, Part II" were a homage to her. (Star Trek: Deep Space Nine Companion, p. 197)

Cameron also worked on another successful television series, Frasier starring Kelsey Grammer. Both shows sets were near each other on the Paramount Pictures lot.
