Automatic transmission station

An automatic transmission station was an automated communications device set up in the life prolongation project complex on the Onlies' homeworld. The transmission station was set to broadcast an SOS signal, and remained online from the 1960s until its message was finally received by the USS Enterprise in 2266. (TOS: "Miri")
