Armando Gonzales is a professional dancer and actor who worked as dancing double for Leonard Nimoy in the Star Trek: The Original Series third season episode "Plato's Stepchildren". He received no credit for this appearance. (Star Trek Encyclopedia (4th ed., vol. 2, p. 545)) He filmed his scenes on Tuesday 10 September 1968 on Gower Stage 10 and is listed as "Armando Gonza" on the daily television production report and as Armando Gonzalez – "Dance Dbl." on the call sheet.

Gonzales had featured parts in the musical Pan-Americana (1945), the romance Dream Girl (1948), the crime drama Tropic Zone (1953, with George Sawaya), and the crime comedy The Cheap Detective (1978, with Louise Fletcher, Paul Williams, James Cromwell, David Ogden Stiers, Victor Tayback, and Jonathan Banks).
