Aristotle was a Greek philosopher in the 4th century BC.
In 2374, the Leonardo Da Vinci-hologram said, that even if Aristotle himself lectured him tell exhaustion, he could not grasp the 24th century world with his 16th century knowledge. (VOY: "Concerning Flight")
Later that year, the USS Voyager encountered the fraudulent starship USS Dauntless. The ship had been altered to closely resemble a starfleet creation, even including a starfleet dedication plaque. The plaque quoted Aristotle: Hope is a waking dream. (VOY: "Hope and Fear")
