Changes: Antares sector

The Antares sector was a region of space. This sector was located in the Alpha Quadrant. (TNG: "The Wounded" display graphic)

In 2364, the USS Copernicus and the USS Omaha Nebraska were on missions in this sector when they received orders from Starfleet Command. This order was later reviewed by Lieutenant Commander Data when he was investigating claims of conspiracy in Starfleet Command. (TNG: "Conspiracy")

According to the dedication plaque for the starship USS Prometheus, this vessel was launched from this sector. (VOY: "Message in a Bottle")

The tactical situation monitor seen in "Yesterday's Enterprise" and "The Wounded" depicted Antares in the same region of space as the Altair system and Janus VI. According to "The Explored Galaxy" star chart, this region of space was located between the Tholian Assembly and Romulus. Both were identified in DS9: "Call to Arms" as being located in the Alpha Quadrant.
