The Antares Ship Yards are Federation shipyards presumably located in the Bajor sector. The USS Enterprise (NCC-1701-B) was constructed at the Antares Ship Yards prior to its launch from Earth orbit in 2293.
The class prototype USS Defiant was launched from the Antares yards on stardate 47538.5, and the USS Valiant was launched on stardate 49456.5.
- The DS9 Technical Manual claims that the Antares Ship Yards are located at Antares IV. This conflicts with the two known dedication plaques that state the Yards are in the Bajor sector, since the distant star Antares can't possibly be in the same sector as nearby Bajor, and the Enterprise-B was launched there before the Bajor sector became part of federation controlled space
