Andrew G. Probert, sometimes just Andrew Probert or A.G. Probert, was a Starfleet officer in the 24th century.

He was a captain in 2363, when he served as a design engineer for the USS Enterprise-D. He was a team member of the Engineering Group which aided in the design and building of this Federation ship. He was listed on the first (2364-2367) and second (2368-2371) versions of the ship's dedication plaques. (TNG: "Encounter at Farpoint", "Silicon Avatar", dedication plaques)

He was the writer of the technical manual Teratogenic Coolant Safety Protocol. A copy of this manual was stored in the Enterprise-D's Engineering Systems Database. (TNG: "Booby Trap", okudagram)

In the early 25th century, he was listed as a member of the Admiralty Board on the dedication plaques of the USS Stargazer, USS Titan-A, and USS Enterprise-G. (PIC: "The Star Gazer", "The Next Generation", "The Last Generation")

He was named after Andrew Probert, one of the illustrators who worked on the TNG production staff.
