During four years, Amy Pietz acted as professional dancer in the musical comedy of the Broadway "Cats", beyond its diverse works in commercial. Pietz grew in the suburb of Oak Creek, Milwaukee, and it it believes that its raízes of the American half-west are responsible for its frank personality. It estreou in the cinema with the long-metragem "Jingle All The Way", a covered with star natalina comedy for Arnold Schwarzenegger. In the television it acted in telefilme "Call will be Help", on domestic violence, and in the suspense "All Lies End in Murder". It also co-estrelou the series "Caroline in the City", besides having participated of "CSI", "Ally McBeal" and "Highlander". She was from a paper in the production of amateur theater of its college, the part "Oliver", that Pietz felt will to follow the actress career. After to conclude its course of Beautiful Arts in the Milwaukee High School of the Arts, it entered in the DePaul University, where if it graduated Beautiful Arts with specialization in Scenic Arts, and received the DePaul's Theatre School Award in Arts par excellence. After to conclude the college, Pietz acted in the theater in Chicago during two years, where it worked in some productions of company, as Steppenwolf and Organic, and it established the Eclipse Theatre Company. Amy Pietz (6 March, 1969 –) is an American actor from Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

She is best known from her work in the television series Caroline in the city as "Annie Spadaro".

One of her first appearances was as Sandra Rhodes in TNG: "Bloodlines", shortly after appearing in her first film Rudy. Since joining Caroline in the City the year after her Star Trek appearance, she guest starred in a number of television series and movies including Jingle All The Way, ER, CSI, The Whole Ten Yards, and most recently Rodney.

She also worked as a dancer on Broadway in Cats for a four year period.
