During four years, Amy Pietz acted as professional dancer in the musical comedy of the Broadway "Cats", beyond its diverse works in commercial. After to conclude its course of Beautiful Arts in the Milwaukee High School of the Arts, it entered in the DePaul University, where if it graduated Beautiful Arts with specialization in Scenic Arts, and received the DePaul's Theatre School Award in Arts par excellence. After to conclude the college, Pietz acted in the theater in Chicago during two years, where it worked in some productions of company, as Steppenwolf and Organic, and it established the Eclipse Theatre Company. When its agency sent it for Los Angeles for the season of production of new series, Pietz obtained a paper in "Day in the Stars: The New Generation ". It also knew a cast agent that, later, would give the chance to it that searched - its first fixed paper in a comic series, "Muscle". Less of one month after the end of "Muscle", Pietz made a test for the paper of Annie in "Caroline in the City".
