Alsatian munster cheese was a type of cheese from France on Earth.

In 2153, Malcolm Reed selected some of the aromatically strongest cheese, including Alsatian munster cheese, to present them to the Vissian Veylo, as she had called most other Earth food aromatically bland. After sniffing this cheese, she offered it to Reed and asked him if he found it sensual, to which he replied, "Very." (ENT: "Cogenitor")
