The cockpit of Alpha Nine
Alpha Nine was the designation for a Maquis fighter in a joint Maquis attack of a Cardassian convoy in 2370.
Maquis presumed the convoy was transporting biogenic weapons which Cardassians intended to smuggle to Cardassian colonists in Demilitarized Zone against Federation colonists. It was actually a trap, planned by the Federation to neutralize Maquis resistance. After Lieutenant Ro Laren discovered a trap, Alpha Nine and the rest of the fleet retreated to safety.
