Alpha Majoris I was the inhabited first planet orbiting Alpha Majoris. This was the homeworld of the mellitus. (TOS: "Wolf in the Fold")

In 2328, both the SS Kogin and the SS Wisconsin transported Max Gabl and Craig Galloway, respectively, to this planet from Dytallix B. (TNG-R: "Inheritance", okudagram)

According to the Star Trek: Star Charts (page 47), Alpha Majoris I was located in or near Federation space in the Alpha Quadrant.
