The Alpha-Hirogen played by Tony Todd in "Prey"

The Alpha Hirogen is the title given to the leader of a Hirogen hunting party or pack. The alpha is seconded by a Beta. (VOY: "Hunters", "The Killing Game, Parts I & II")

Danny Goldring played the Alpha Hirogen in "The Killing Game", Tony Todd played one in "Prey", and Vaughn Armstrong played one in "Flesh and Blood".

He explained that he was hunting a prey, that turn on him and attacked and wounded him. When Species 8472 enters Voyager, the Hirogen demands to continue the hunt, and when Janeway refuses, he threatens to have the Hirogen ships that are approaching attack Voyager. During the attack the Hirogen and 8472 engage in battle, and Seven beams them aboard the hirogen ship.
