An allasomorph is an anthropomorphic shapeshifting species capable of altering its molecular structure into that of other species, once thought to be only rumor and is mentioned in the Galactic Zoological Catalogue.
The inhabitants of Daled IV and its moons, including Salia and Anya, are allasomorphs. (TNG: "The Dauphin")
