Template:Realworld Alara Rogers is the author of the short story "Civil Disobedience", which was published in the anthology Strange New Worlds in 1998.
Before getting her story published, she was quite active writing fan fiction for a number of franchises including Star Trek and the X-Men. From 1995-1998 she was the archivist for Trekiverse, the main Star Trek fan fiction archive.
