Alan Scarfe (born 8 June 1946; age 69) is a British actor who played Admiral Mendak in the Star Trek: The Next Generation fourth season episode "Data's Day" in 1990. Later, he appeared as Tokath in the sixth season episode "Birthright, Part II" and as Augris in the Star Trek: Voyager second season episode "Resistance". Scarfe is married to actress Barbara March who played Lursa in Star Trek: The Next Generation, Star Trek: Deep Space Nine and Star Trek Generations.

Scarfe is probably best known for starring roles on the television series Seven Days (with Norman Lloyd) and the miniseries Legend of Earthsea. He also had a memorable guest appearance in the seaQuest DSV episode "Games" alongside Trek alumni Stephanie Beacham and Marco Sanchez. His character, Dr. Rubin Zellar, was eventually mass-produced as an action figure for the seaQuest DSV line by Playmates Toys.

He is a former Associate Director of the Stratford Shakespeare Festival in Ontario, Canada and the Everyman Theatre in Liverpool.
