Akritirian cargo vessel

Akritirian cargo vessel

An Akritirian cargo vessel was a type of freighter used by the Akritirians during the 24th century. The vessel was small enough in size to be towed into the shuttlebay of an Intrepid-class starship.

One such cargo vessel was operated by Piri and Vel, members of the terrorist group Open Sky. In 2373, they used the ship's paralithium, from the ion-based propulsion system, to make trilithium explosives. (VOY: "The Chute")
