Adolphus Hankins (10 March 19418 August 2010; age 69) was an actor who appeared as a maiden voyage official in the Star Trek feature film Star Trek Generations in 1994. In 1999, he appeared as a vice admiral in the Star Trek: Voyager sixth season episode "Pathfinder". His uniform from this episode was previously worn by Anthony Zerbe as Matthew Dougherty in Star Trek: Insurrection and was later sold off on the web. [1] [2] Hankins also wore the admiral's uniform jacket previously worn by Tucker Smallwood in the episode "In the Flesh" and by background actor Ron Blohm on Star Trek: Deep Space Nine. The jacket was sold off on the It's A Wrap! sale and auction on eBay. [3]

Hankins also appeared as a background actor, a party guest, in the comic adaptation Batman & Robin (1997, with John Glover, Alex Daniels, Steve Blalock, Mark Chadwick, Jim Palmer, Paul Sklar, and Spice Williams-Crosby) and as an audience member at the Tony Awards in The Nanny episode "The Nanny & the Hunk Producer" (1997, with Daniel Davis). Together with his wife, Hankins appeared in the 1995 drama The American President. The film also features Anne Haney, Beau Billingslea, Gail Strickland, Clement von Franckenstein, John Mahon, Jordan Lund, Richard McGonagle, Beans Morocco, George Murdock, Googy Gress, Ron Canada, Greg Poland, Mark Thompson, David Drew Gallagher, and Ray Uhler. They also appeared as restaurant patrons in the Two and a Half Men episode "The Price of Healthy Gums Is Eternal Vigilance" (2004, stunt coordination by Eddie Braun).

Hankins was married to fellow actress Betty until his death in 2010. Betty Hankins, known for her recurring appearance on Power Rangers Lost Galaxy in 1999, passed away in 2016.

Hankins passed away on 8 August 2010 at the age of 69. [4]
