Action figures were small dolls usually made to represent heroes or villains and were often intended to be toys for children, though some adults were also fond of action figures, as they could evoke a feeling of youthful nostalgia.
- A small Talosian action figure could be seen on Rain Robinson's desk. (VOY: "Future's End")
- Quark had a collection of Marauder Mo action figures that he took out of their original packaging causing a depreciation of their value. (DS9: "Ferengi Love Songs")
- One of the children on board the USS Enterprise-D created a likeness of Captain Picard for Captain Picard Day which was similar to an action figure. (TNG: "The Pegasus")
- Two action figure like figures were placed in Jonathan Archer's remote controlled model spaceship in 2121. (ENT: "Broken Bow")
