Abdon was a member of a pink-skinned and a hairless humanoid species with a ridged scalp who served as a Starfleet engineer during the late-24th century.
In 2373, Abdon served on the Bajoran space station Deep Space 9 under Operations Chief Miles O'Brien. On one occasion, O'Brien ordered the swing shift, of which Abdon was a part, to run calibration tests on all sixty-four of the station's inertial couplings, within a day. He was later assigned to the cargo bay with fellow officer Nori. (DS9: "The Assignment")
Abdon was played by an unknown actor.
Though not confirmed, Abdon's species bears a striking similarity to the Kobali.
The script for "The Assignment" states Abdon's name is pronounced "AB-dun". It goes on to describe him as, "an alien with a somber disposition." [1]
