Voyager flight path Astrometrics

A map of the Milky Way Galaxy

The 3 kpc Arm was a collection of stars, planets, nebulae, and other spatial objects that form the curved "arms" outshooting from the galactic core of the Milky Way Galaxy. The 3 kpc Arm was labeled on a computer panel in Astrometrics on USS Voyager during the later years of its seven-year journey in the Delta Quadrant. (VOY: "Endgame" display graphic [1])

The name "3 kpc" refers to 3 kiloparsecs, or approximately 10,000 light years, as that is how far it extends from the galactic core.
The graphic was also reproduced in legible detail in Geoffrey Mandel's Star Trek: Star Charts.
